Is there some reason why none of the solo songs sung by Darren Criss are included on this CD? Like Bills, Bills, Bills, When I Get you Alone OR Silly Love Songs? I am especially disappointed that Silly Love Songs isn’t included on this soundtrack because it is my favorite song from this half of season 2! Its a fantastic song, Darren is an awesome singer, and there’s no reason that it shouldn’t be included on this CD! Even though it is a very small percentage, there are still some Gleeks in the world that don’t have iPods and thus rely on the CDs or Youtube to listen to our favorite Glee songs. I would much have preferred if you replaced one of the Justin Bieber songs with Silly Love Songs. I absolutely love Darren Criss!!

Hey, Jenna! I agree with you one hundred percent – maybe not specifically on Darren Criss’ songs (though I love him too), but I often find that a huge chunk of my favorite Glee songs are missing from the more recent albums. While it’s true the first couple soundtracks also didn’t have all of the songs on them, more of my favorites were included on those albums, and I think that’s probably because more and more songs were featured per episode in season 2. I know it’s unrealistic to expect every single song to be included on a physical CD album, but I feel the most enjoyed songs are often left out for the most likely to be featured songs (i.e. most of the “Grilled Cheesus” songs were cut from Vol. 4, but “Empire State of Mind” was included).

After purchasing Vol. 4, I have firmly decided that I’m no longer going to purchase the actual CDs. It’s more a personal choice than an act of rebellion (I strongly encourage any Gleek to go out and buy the CDs! The cover arts are awesome). I just see it as a waste for me personally when none of my favorites are included. I’d be better off purchasing single songs off iTunes and burning my own CDs.

Jenna, do you have access to iTunes? Because if you’re in the same boat as me, that’s what I would recommend. If you’re a super Gleek, you could even buy the CDs AND single songs. I have an iPod, but hardly use it myself. But buying off iTunes (if you can) and burning CDs is certainly an option. :)

I totally agree with u Darren Criss is amazing in when I get you all alone and lets face it Sam isn’t that good at singing Baby anyway and I think they should bring out an individual cd which is literally devoted to the warbelers with all of their songs on it. Hope they do that because I would definatelt buy it and I’m sure many other people would do as well. Plus, I’m just wondering when New Directions get to nationals are they going to face vocal adrenaline ????????

The warblers are getting their own cd (released in april) so I would say that’s the reason why none of Darren’s songs are on this soundtrack :)

Thanks for the tip, Liesbeth – I was not aware that the Warblers’ music will be featured on a separate release. I’ll check into that. :)
