Rory’s first day at McKinley might not have been so “grand”, but Damian’s sure was! Irishman Damian McGinty might have needed subtitles on the The Glee Project (back when he was “crapping” himself with uncertainty), but not so on Glee! Where all is magically understood. Heh. Keep reading…
Back when it was questionable whether Coldplay’s music catalogue would actually be featured on Glee, I did a series of posts on the blog asking for readers to make their best guesses as to what Coldplay songs they think could be, or what they wish would be, featured on the show. It might come as no surprise that “Fix You” was among one of the first picks. Keep reading…
Never a dull moment on Glee, but watching Heather Morris dance is definitely one of the highlights. This yet-another killer choreographed number is certainly no exception and pulls out all the stops for a knock ‘em dead performance from Brittany to show those boys who’s boss, er…class president. “I think it might be one of the better numbers. But then, it’s Harry.”
- Zach Woodlee, Glee choreographer
Mike Chang’s (Harry Shum, Jr.) very first solo performance from West Side Story was most definitely “cool” to say the least. It was also a musical standout of the episode, and not just because “Asian F” is a long-overdue episode all about Mike Chang – I think we can all pretty much agree on the fact that Harry Shum, Jr. is frickin’ amazing. The idea of a Glee holiday season has been so well received ever since the release of the Glee cast single, “Last Christmas” back in season 1. We even had a Glee Christmas episode in season 2! So of course it would make sense that Glee would continue with last year’s popular Christmas album. Keep reading…

I am Unicorn. Hear me roar. Or in this case, sing.
With only three songs this episode, “I Am Unicorn” is a nice change of pace from the musically jam-packed episodes of season 2. I was very much a fan of the season 1 plots that kept to just a few songs per episode and revolved more around character. Episode 2 of season 3 reminds me a lot of the season 1 I’ve been missing. Musically there’s tons of fun stuff going on in the Glee season 3 premier: Vanessa Lengies (Sugar) as the first real glee club reject, Glee Project runner-up Lindsay Pearce making her very Rachel Berry-esque debut, purple pianos…. What could be better?
“It’s a playful, catchy little tune that fits Santana to a T, though it mentions getting with guys. So I think Santana could have two songs. Sexy, Naughty, Bitchy Me, that represents her reverting back to her old self and sticking to the inside of the closet – but then maybe she goes through a change of heart and realizes that she needs to be true to herself (remember way back when Kurt attempted to be straight by singing ‘Pink Houses’? It can be something like that XD).”
Anybody else still in shock over Cameron’s exit on The Glee Project? What I find so hilarious for me is, right before that episode I was gearing myself up for Cameron to leave – just based on the fact he was having so much trouble with the competition – but it was definitely hardest for viewers I think, for him to leave the way he did. I mean, who turns down Ryan Murphy?? Keep reading…
In case there was ever any doubt, Sue assures you to not fork over money for a ticket to see all your favorite Gleeks on the big screen. Didn’t seem to stop Mini Warbler dude from attending it live (did you see him, did you see him??). Keep reading…
I started out fall 2009 writing Glee spoilers for Spoilers Guide, and though all you Gleeks eat up those spoilers, unlike most TV series there's another side to Glee - the music! And so, Glee-Soundtrack was born. Keep checking back here for updates on anything music-related going on in the Gleekosphere.
